I wanted to thank everyone that took part in my little forum over the years. It gave me much pride along with some heartbreak. Nonetheless, it was a great forum while it lasted.

As a thank you, I have made the forum available in archival form only. If you were a member, you can still log in but the ability to post or PM has been disabled. New memberships to the forum has also been suspended.

I have opened all forums up for viewing even without a membership. This way you can browse through the years of content even if you forgot your username and password.

I want to thank everyone on the moderation staff for putting in the time and effort to keep this place somewhat sane. But I want to especially thank John, 10lbs of Gold, for keeping the torch lit when I stepped out. I appreciate it, brother.

Last but not least, I want to thank all of you... the members that breathed life into Beltmarks/Slamfans. If it hadn't been for any of you, this website would have been for naught.

Thanks again and have fun reliving old memories. See you all down road.

Elgin doesn't seem to care that he owe money or belts to people...as this has been brought up to him in some of the locker room he's worked shows on. and he doesn't care. Seems almost proud he's ripped people off.

As for him wrestling, I was told last show I worked on, Elgin was told by the school he was training at he was no longer allowed to work shows since he refuses to attend training and/or practice and the last workout he did attend he was injuring others and he just didn't care. This might be a good thing because in addition to his adventures in belt making he got an ego and became a locker room cancer, refusing to do jobs or work against certain vets. He once pissed of a well known Norcal tag team off to the point that during the match he was in with them. they gorilla pressed him out of the ring and into a table that had a computer and projector on some 10-12 feet beyond the ring and stiffed his ass bigtime.

I'd say if he owe, call his work, let his boss know, harassment be damned. I am sure the Corporate offices would want to know one of their employees is operating a scam operation. Cause if he's doing this with people with belts, whats he doing with people who he deals with on a daily basis??

In terms of a basic (and mostly for "display" and "backyard" purposes, really) low-budget plate-painting business, how feasible is using nail polish on the plastic plates (you know, the ones usually on the foam belts) or on Figures Inc. quality replicas?
Granted, this would also include a bunch of crazy colors for any given reason. I'm thinking of starting a local "plate-painting" service (with the pre-painting caveat to the customer that I would be using nail polish, natch), and would like to know any helpful opinions from the qualified belt fans here.

so i've had this belt for a while now and decided i should fix it lol,
the main plate had 7 bolts break off so i fixed them but left the far 2 on each side off. also put it on a new strap and now i like it again lol
